Private Parties
Henna is a fun addition to any party or festive occasion. Meghan’s Mehndi does henna at private parties in Seattle and the surrounding area. Parties can include home parties, corporate parties, bridal showers, wedding parties and more! Henna is fun for children, teens, and adults alike, so consider it for your next event, whatever it may be. Prices vary according to the number of people attending and the type of event it is. Please see below for detailed pricing information. In addition, if your event is 20 miles or more from our location, an additional travel cost may apply.
Children’s Birthday Party:
Henna is a fun addition to any child’s birthday party. Children ages 14 and under can have a henna artist come to their home or party destination and do small designs for all their friends. A Child’s Birthday party is for kids and tweens ages 14 and under and costs $125 for an hour and a half of hennas!
Home Parties:
Home parties may include birthdays (ages 15 and older), retirement parties, girl’s night, bachelorette parties, and more! These events are usually up to 15 people and have one artist for two hours. Designs are limited to small and medium sized designs in a variety of styles to allow everyone to have henna. The price for a home party of this size is $175. If you would like to add addition time, this is also an option. If parties will have more or less people, please contact us for a different rate.
Large Parties & Corporate Events:
Corporate events would might mean having henna at a company’s picnic or annual event. Corporate pricing also applies to large-scale events and parties such as Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Gradnight parties, rehearsal dinner parties, large family reunions, and College/University events. Henna is a fun activity to add to these events and will provide a lasting memory of the fun had together. At these events, individuals are presented with a wide variety of small and medium sized designs to choose from. Large parties and corporate Rates are $150 an hour with a two hour minimum for one artist. Please contact Meghan’s Mehndi if you are interested in having more than one henna artist available.
Baby Showers:
Henna on a mother’s pregnant belly is a fun tradition in Indian culture as part of welcoming the new baby into the world. Large mandalas on the belly are symbols of good luck and help to encourage a safe passage for the baby into our world. Henna at baby showers can be a fun way for everyone close to the mother-to-be to be a part of a fun and moving tradition of belly adornment. Baby shower henna is $250 for three hours of henna art. Usually one hour is spent on the mother-to-be and then the rest of the time is spent doing henna on guests and family. The time can also be solely devoted to the mother-to-be or time can be split between her and the shower guests- the choice is yours!
Bridal Henna:
Weddings are an important henna tradition and can be fun for the bride and her wedding party as well. Wedding henna is traditionally done at the bride’s place of residence, allowing her to relax and protect her henna. Wedding henna can be applied to just the bride or to the bride and her bridesmades as well. Our wedding mehndi rate is $300 for three hours. The time can be solely devoted to the bride’s hands and/or feet or time can be split between the bride and her wedding party!
