Henna on a mother’s pregnant belly is a fun tradition in Indian culture as part of welcoming the new baby into the world. Large mandalas on the belly are symbols of good luck and help to encourage a safe passage for the baby into our world. Henna at baby showers can be a fun way for everyone close to the mother-to-be to be a part of a fun and moving tradition of belly adornment. Baby shower henna is $300 for three hours of henna art. Usually one hour is spent on the mother-to-be and then the rest of the time is spent doing henna on guests and family. The time can also be solely devoted to the mother-to-be or time can be split between her and the shower guests- the choice is yours!
If you are interested in doing a private appointment belly henna, this is also an option! For individual belly henna, the price is dependent on the design chosen- please contact us to schedule an appointment or with further questions.
Henna is a fun addition to any party or festive occasion. Meghan's Mehndi does henna at private parties in Seattle and the surrounding area.
